Gli “Open spaces” sono sempre una sfida! Perché?
Si riesce a far stare tutto ma ogni singola zona ha bisogno di essere caratterizzata!
La cliente pensava inizialmente a un dipinto a parete, ma dopo un sopralluogo e qualche domanda tecnica ho capito che in realtà la vera necessità era quella di equilibrare le diverse altezze del soffitto; perciò ho studiato e proposto una decorazione a parete e soffitto per l’intera area del soggiorno.
Per fare in modo che fossero gli angioletti a catturare l’occhio, ho dovuto fare un lavoro importante sulla realizzazione della cornice che dalla parete più alta incontra e continua poi il soffitto, facendo percepire all’occhio un’altezza diversa rispetto al reale.
Ho “giocato” con dei colori diversi per creare maggiore o minore profondità: un cielo denso nella parte più alta che lo rendesse più pesante e quindi più basso, mentre sulla parete più bassa ho tenuto un decoro leggero affinché l’occhio lo percepisse più alto.
Gli angioletti caratterizzano le diverse aree del soggiorno: il camino, il divano, la zona lettura.

The client initially thought of a wall painting, but after an inspection and some technical questions, I realised that the real need was to balance the different heights of the ceiling. So I studied and proposed a wall and ceiling decoration for the entire living room area.
In order for the little angels to catch the eye, I had to do an important work on the realisation of the frame that from the highest wall meets and then continues the ceiling, making the eye perceive a different height compared to the real one.
I “played” with different colours to create greater or lesser depth: a dense sky at the top that made it heavier and therefore lower, while on the lower wall I kept a light decoration so that the eye could perceive it higher.
The little angels characterise the different areas of the living room: the fireplace, the sofa, the reading area.
