Cosa fare quando hai un mobile importante ma vecchio, ancora sano ma con un look un poco malconcio?
Si procede con lo scrostare le parti danneggiate, si sigilla e si stucca ricreando la superficie liscia; si realizzano dei campioni -perché arrivare al risultato esistente non è facile- e si procede su tutte le aree coinvolte.
Fatto tutto questo magari ci si rende conto che il mobile avrebbe bisogno di qualche tocco di luce perciò ho aggiunto dei profili in foglia argento e ho steso più mani di gommalacca per proteggere il tutto.
Risultato? Un Nuovo Vecchio mobile importante arricchito di carattere che ti accompagnerà ancora per lungo tempo!
FURNITURE RESTORATION
What can you do when you have an important piece of furniture (such as this bookcase) that is old, still strong, but with a battered look?
First, the damaged parts must be stripped, sealed and plastered to recreate a smooth surface. Samples must be realised (because achieving the desired result is by no means easy), then all the involved areas are processed.
Once this is done, perhaps you notice that the bookcase needs some lighting touch. I therefore added silver profiles and applied several coatings of protective shellac.
The result? An important old bookcase that is now looking new and enriched with character, and which will accompany you for a long time to come!
